This type of course is designed for those who had their driving license suspended and in the case of whom the Regional Road Traffic Inspectorate decided that the given person is to pass a refresher training course. This type of course is usually shorter than the standard one and it focuses on the issues that were the reason for their license suspension.

The driver refresher training course comprises classroom lessons and hands-on-training. The content and scope of the learning material is stipulated by the Ministry of Transport (12 x 45 minutes of classroom training and 6 x 45 minutes of hands-on training). For hands-on training the vehicles of the highest group for the driving license specified in the final decision are used.

Documents that are needed:

• Decision of a Police Force body related to the obligation to undergo a refresher training course - bring the letter with you. You cannot register for such a course if not providing the decision above.
• Physical fitness certificate - the form can be picked up in the driving school or downloaded in the PDF format.
• Mental capacity certificate - if you have been ordered to have one.

It is recommended to get the physical fitness certificate, the mental capacity certificate, and the certificate of obligatory psychological sessions (if you have been ordered such sessions) first. Only then can your refresher training course start.

You will be registered for the test by the driving school once completing the refresher training course and the date of such a test will be determined by a Police Force body.

There will be a section and letter stated in the decision that specify the parts of the test that you are to pass (only the text or all three parts, meaning written test, passing obstacles, driving test).
